Graham Kendall (born 21 July 1961 in London, UK) is a British professor of computer science at the University of Nottingham, UK. He serves as a pro-vice chancellor of the university, as well as the provost and CEO of the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (2016–present).[1] He is a member of the Automated Scheduling, Optimisation and Planning (ASAP) Research Group within the School of Computer Science. Kendall is the editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions of Computational Intelligence and AI in Games.[4] His research focuses on operations research, optimisation, metaheuristics, hyper-heuristics, scheduling (particularly sports), and evolutionary computation, with academic ties to the University of Nottingham and UMIST alongside Edmund K. Burke.
